I Run Marathons

...because I decided to change the definition of the word marathon. I think the previous definition was unfair. There is no way on Earth I could run 26.2 miles. However, I want to be a marathon runner. So I changed the definition. It now means "taking a walk around the block" because that's what I want.

Now that you've discovered the secret of Gay Marriage, what can you do?

Random thought: Liberals believe in equality of result; Conservatives believe in equality of opportunity.

Hey, my daughter (17 years old) - who used to have leukemia just finished her first 26.2 Mile marathon! Don't change the definition of "Marathon" because it reduces the value of actually doing a Marathon!

We have to preserve the value of accomplishment. To me thats the biggest difference between conservatives and liberals. In a conservative world, you accomplish something, you deserve the fruits of the accomplishment. In a liberal world, you are... therefore you deserve...

Be Careful my friend, its a slippery slope your standing atop of!

Foxier, sorry for the repub, I misspelled slope and it totally turned the post into a comedy

Well stated Foxier, if you pull the thread, equality of opportunity is capitalism, equality of result is communism.
