I recently bought a 2 CD set of Fred Astaire songs. It was the result of our local jazz station's weekend Rugcutter's Swing shows which led to me creating a Pandora station based on some of the artists which led to me hearing a Fred Astaire song I really liked which led to the purchase of the CDs which led to this!

There are worse things to listen to besides Fred Astaire songs--you could be listening to gangsta rap or death metal or some other abomination. I've got a playlist of old standards from the '30s and '40s--my parents generation--on iTunes. When I was younger I considered such stuff hopelessly dorky old fogey music. Now that I am a good bit older and considerably closer to hopelessly dorky old fogeydom myself, that stuff sounds pretty good!
I love swing! And Fred Astaire too, I have a number songs by him on my ipod.
