Enough Psychoanalyzing Obama Already

... and enough of the dire warnings about his presidency falling apart.

Geeze, the dude is doing the best he can. Like the Chargers drafting Ryan Leaf to be their QB, we deliberately elected someone who had "disaster" written all over him. You don't pick a pouty little boy to lead an NFL team and you don't pick someone who has never even run a taco shop to be president. Now that we've done it, the pundits are starting to fret.

George Will is worried that Obama is an egomaniac. David Kuhn is concerned that Obama is becoming a joke. Richard Cohen doesn't think the guy has a spine.

Get a grip. What's going on is precisely what you would have expected had you read his resume and paid attention during the campaign. Now that it's all unfolding just as one would expect, the editorial writers are scratching their mighty craniums and delving into Freud to figure out Just What's Going On.

It's really not that complicated.

Taco shop night manager: Not the ultimate experience to be president, but a pretty good start.

He thinks he has been elected President of something like Harvard Law Review and that the duties will be similar. This explains much.
