Yellow, Prickly
I probably should know the name of these flowers before I post photos of them. Oh well. Mea culpa. At least it's worth a click.

Personally, I think it is better to put up pictures with no name, than to give them completely wrong names.
I used to work at a florist when I was in college, many many many years ago. This looks like the flower "kangaroo paws". It comes in usually orange, yellow, and brown.
