Lee And Byrd

To ask the question is to answer it...

Why do we allow things to remain named after Robert Byrd, who was an avowed white supremacist, but we take down statues of Robert E. Lee, who was anti-slavery at a time and place where that was a liability?

I like your other observation that memorial day is based on a confederate tradition. It must be purged, so get to work on Monday everybody..

LOL.

How about if a Republican administration goes along with the cultural cleansing whole-heartedly? FDR was a bigot. Woodrow Wilson was a massive bigot. Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger was a colossal, genocidal bigot. Out they go! Every one of them!

As Rules for Radicals said in excruciating prose, make them live up to their own standards.
